Primary Research
Primary research involved:
School visits
Classroom observations
Teacher and student interviews
Insights Identified:
Teachers spend personal time maintaining registers.
Documentation systems are fragmented and redundant.
Digital systems are often disconnected from real classroom needs.
Students perceive teacher stress, impacting engagement.
Adoption resistance stems from complexity and lack of training.
Primary research emphasized the need for simplicity, familiarity, and offline functionality.
Schools adopting digital tools often lack structured implementation.
Schools adopting digital tools often lack structured implementation.
Day 1
Environment: Classrooms + Staff Rooms + Playground
Observed 6 classes (Sci/Com/Hum, Yr 11 & 12). Conducted unstructured interviews with 6 students aged 15–18. Heavy workload, exam stress, and lack of practical exposure observed.
Schools adopting digital tools often lack structured implementation.
Teacher burnout correlates with repetitive non-instructional tasks.
Poor system integration leads to underutilized technology.
Administrative overload significantly reduces teaching efficiency.

Day 2
Environment: Senior Classrooms + Staff Rooms
Focused on teacher observations & interviews. Connected with teachers from multiple Dehradun schools. All highlighted daily manual data-filling as a persistent burden.
